kapağında david bowie nin görülmedği albüm. çıkmak için gün sayılıyor.

"valentine's day"in başında o 70'lerin efsane gitar tonunu duyduktan sonra, çıkınca plağını koynuma alıp uyumayı düşündüğüm albüm. baştan sona harika bir albüm olmuş mu bilmem ama, ilk bir iki dinleyişte 5-6 tane harika parça kulağa takılıyor.

where are we now zaten malumumuzdu. "valentine's day"in yanı sıra bowie'nin morrissey'e göz kırptığı "you feel so lonely you could die" ve "how does the grass grow?" leziz parçalar. keza "dirty boys" ve "the stars" da öyle.

tony visconti'nin, içinde klasik bowie'nin yanında yenilikçi bowie'nin de olduğunu söylediği albüm. genelde böyle röportajlar gaz verme^* amaçlı oluyor ama bu albüm için en doğru tanımlama bu. bir şarkıda low zamanından tatlar gelirken başka şarkıda hours tadı geliyor. ilk dinlediğimde boss of me ve i'd rather be high çok hoşuma gitmişti. albümü dinledikçe diğer şarkılar da çok çok güzel gelmeye başladı.

albümün hem standart cd versiyonu ( sağolsun sony müzik türkiyestandart versiyonu 9 mart 2013 te ülkemizde de yayınladı ) hem de delüks cd versiyonu elimde. ne diyebilirim , bence 2013 yılının en iyi albümü . umarım üstad bir turneye çıkar da canlı gözlerle görürüz kendisini.

david bowie'nin 25. (hey maşallah) stüdyo albümü ve aynı albümün ilk şarkısı. şarkının nakaratında "here ı am..not quite dying" derken mesaj yerini bulmaktadır. david bowie sahneye çıkıyor ve ilk açılış şarkısı bu oluyor. nakarata girdiğinde gözümden bir damla sevinç göz yaşı düşüyor. albümü dinlediğimden beri bu hayal kafamda yaşıyor lakin kendisi turneye çıkmayı düşünmediğini, artık sadece kayıt yapmak istediği belirtmiş. umarım bu fikrinden hemen vazgeçer. şarkının sözlerini de copy paste edecek olursak;
